Man, Foster needs to stop. His stuff is becoming as rote and as badly written as Edding’s stuff was before he died.

a Humanx commonwealth novel. 2 xenobiologists uncover a great power/mystery in an aboriginal tribe on a new world. Through it, one of the protagonists comes across the “great, mindless, relentless evil” that Flynx has been tasked to deal with. A good standalone novel.

a Commonwealth novel, about aplanet becoming sentient and the humans who are involved. Very earthy and treehuggy, but still entertaining. Not preachy, just sappy.
