Oh the deep abiding loneliness, the deep, black abyss of despair

You are gone, taken from me, rending my heart in twain

How will I go on knowing you are not there?

My poor soda bottle is empty

  5. After so many book covers with sword-wielding, fierce warriors, and superheroes and weird creatures, it was strange to see one featuring such a small, tender kitten! Then I read the last line of the poem and saw the other picture…
